On Monday May 29th 2023, Yangbo and I had a 30 minute chat on Clubhouse to generate interest in the headline questions above. We invite conference attendees to share their perspectives and ideas about their responses to these complex questions.

On Tuesday May 30th 2023, I attended The Forum: On Community with Federico Rios (newly appointed Senior Vice President of the Robinson Center for Civic Leadership at the Foundation For The Carolinas). This event was organized by Mark Peres, the executive director of the The Charlotte Center for the Humanities & Civic Imagination. Federico told a compelling story about his family’s struggle with inequities.
