How might we use indigenous wisdom to co-create a new dawn of ethical awakenings and co-design a fair-free-flourishing future to benefit all?
How might the poems, Sunset Inequities and Sunrise Equity, inspire the innovation and entrepreneurship for Equity Moonshot?
Equity is the morning sun: a new dawn of ethical awakenings.
When people see big differences between what's fair and unfair, it can lead to divisive conflicts, uncivil strife, terrorism, and war.
The competitive battles of injustice create dysfunctional polarizations between who is seen to be the most unjust and the least unjust. The battles become races to the immoral bottom that destroy the prospects of peace.
Which cultures or people have perpetrated the greatest injustices against humanity?
Who has suffered the greatest wrongdoings: black, indigenous, people of color, the Palestinians or the Jews?
Political extremists who feel most wronged seek vengeance through acts of violence. With self-righteous retribution, the wounded wage just wars that risk committing international war crimes.
How do we put an end to the vicious cycles of escalating victimization, trauma, and chronic post-traumatic stress injuries?
Which victimized people or cultures have taken the least vengeance and revenge?
Equity is the sacred virtue of fairness
Equity is the antidote to the power abuses of BIPID: Biases, Isms, Prejudices, Inequities and Discriminations. The cultural humility of equity rises above the hubris of BIPID cultures.
The Rhodium rule of equity is: be fair and kind to all people, the planet, the environment, nature, biodiversity, animals, the soil and plants.
Equity Moonshot is about how we might:
Solve our complex web of self-inflicted, wicked problems in the 21st-century
Co-design and build an equitable, regenerative, and sustainable future.
Consider joining #UniteEquityMuses: a new transformational change agent movement.
As Socratic Sherpas, we ask complex questions about changing our trajectory away from a dystopian future.
How might we overcome:
Our ethical illiteracies about the distinctions between virtues and values?
Our systemic and individual prejudices against the fairness of equity and equality?
Our reductionist fixation and rigid attachments to individual values (such as liberty and freedom) that perpetrate and perpetuate the systemic prejudices against the virtues of equity and equality?
These questions call moving beyond the hierarchical constraints of our value systems that rank order what is important.
How might we:
Migrate beyond our conflicting value propositions to the emancipation of aligning virtue propositions to do good for all and the planet?
Follow the North Star of Equity, embedded within a non-hierarchical constellation of virtues to provide ethical guard rails on individual values of freedom and liberty?
Imagine … how might …
We, the people, visualize together how to build launching pads for Equity Moonshot?
We, as Socratic Sherpas, unite together to co-create ecological frameworks of complex questions for working on the #EquityMoonshot quest?
We, as lifelong learners, zoom out, zoom in and zoom out in agile and adaptive ways across the metaphysical, meta, macro, meso, micro, and nano levels, without being transfixed on any particular level or training-of-origin lens?
Poems provide unstructured ways of challenging the constraints of our mindsets, our imaginations and co-creativities to overcome our ethical illiteracies, our media indoctrinations and our cultural myopias for working on the Equity Moonshot quest.
How might we all to:
Open, inspire and align our mindsets for the greater good?
Do good for the commons, humanity, the common good, and the health of the planet?
Co-create equity governance, moral stewardship and distributive leadership to exponentiate transformational collaborations and learning?
This calls for liberating our ethical imaginations and developing the moral courage to build networks of launching pads for Equity Moonshot.
